Outsourcing

Outsourcing jobs that we don’t want to do or others could do better than us is a great idea. Yet, when it comes to our own precious lives, we have a tendency not to turn to ourselves. We turn to others to ask them their opinions on our lives. As though they would know what is better for us then us.
The truth is we have trouble trusting ourselves and have an easier time trusting others. Sometimes it is as simple as leaving big decisions to others so that it absolves us of our responsibilities in case anything goes awry. But it is a bad habit to cultivate, to believe that we our not trustworthy. It is wonderful to speak to others to share ideas or help to mull over something; but ultimately the decisions you make should be ones of your own volition, from a place of trust and belief that you do know what is best for you.
Your life is not for outsourcing to others. It is yours to believe and trust in and have faith that you do know what to do.
